Campus

Take a closer look at University of Exeter

The University of Exeter is spread across three campuses — two in Exeter, Devon, and one in Penryn, Cornwall. The teaching and research activities of the Faculty of Medicine and Health take place at the RILD Building, RD&E Wonford, and at a facility in Truro known as the "Knowledge Spa." Streatham Campus, the largest of the University of Exeter's campuses, is built around a hillside overlooking the city and is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful settings in the country. The Times has described Streatham Campus's registered botanical gardens as among the most beautiful in all of Britain, while The Independent has called Streatham Campus "magnificent."

Renovated in recent years with substantial investment, the Forum — which has quickly become Streatham Campus's most striking feature and serves as a hub for the entire campus — offers a new Student Services Centre, a refurbished library, state-of-the-art learning spaces, a 400-seat event hall, and numerous shopping and dining outlets. Academic buildings, the sports park, the library, shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars are all within walking distance of one another.

St. Luke's Campus, the university's second campus in Exeter, is home to the university's Graduate School of Education, the College of Life and Environmental Sciences, and the University of Exeter's renowned Medical School. Located east of the city center, St. Luke's Campus is just 1 mile from Streatham Campus, which is situated in the northwest of the city. St. Luke's Campus features a library recently refurbished with a £1 million budget, IT facilities, modern seminar rooms, lecture theaters, an art room, a fitness room, a health and fitness studio, a heated indoor swimming pool, and prayer spaces. While the University of Exeter Students' Guild organizes many of its activities on St. Luke's Campus, students at St. Luke's have full access to all the academic, social, and sporting facilities available at Streatham Campus.

Penryn Campus in Cornwall is situated near the coastal town of Falmouth, covering an area of approximately 405,000 square meters and boasting some of the most stunning scenery to be found anywhere in the United Kingdom. Penryn Campus offers tranquility and peace alongside a vibrant student community made up of science, engineering, humanities, and arts students. Ranked in the top ten in the country for student satisfaction, students at Penryn Campus describe the experience as highly personal, intellectually stimulating, and one where everyone quickly gets to know their peers.
