IB Diploma Programme (International Baccalaureate) is a two-year university preparation program for students aged 16-19. Run by the International Baccalaureate Organization (Geneva-based); offered in 5,700+ schools across 159 countries. Considered the world's most prestigious high-school diploma.
The program includes 6 subjects + 3 core mandatory components: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Extended Essay (4,000-word research paper), and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). Each subject scored 1-7; total diploma 0-45.
IB-offering schools in Turkey: Hisar Schools, ENKA Schools, Robert College, Aksaray Eyüboğlu, TED Istanbul College, MEF, Üsküdar American Academy, and 50+ other IB World Schools. May exam registration from March.
