Studying for a Bachelor's Degree in Sweden

Choosing where to study for your bachelor's degree in Sweden means weighing academic reputation, entry requirements, tuition, and life as an international student. Below is a quick guide to help you plan your application with confidence.

  • Entry requirements. Most universities in Sweden ask for your high-school diploma and transcript, proof of English (usually IELTS or TOEFL), and — for selective programs — standardised tests such as the SAT. Requirements vary by institution and field.
  • Tuition & living costs. Annual tuition and living expenses differ widely by city and program. Compare fees, scholarships, and on-campus vs. off-campus accommodation before you decide.
  • Application timeline. Start 12–18 months ahead: shortlist universities, sit any required tests, prepare documents and essays, then submit before each deadline and arrange your student visa.

Dream Uni's advisors help you shortlist the right universities in Sweden, get your documents and essays ready, and manage every deadline — from first application to visa.
