ACT (American College Testing) is another standardised test for US undergraduate admissions. Like SAT, it is accepted equally by over 4,000 US universities; historically more popular in Midwest and Southern universities.
Scored on a 1-36 composite scale, with four sections: English, Math, Reading, Science. Each section 1-36; composite is the average. Total duration: 2 hours 55 minutes (3h 35m with optional Writing).
Since 2024, ACT is fully online at international test centres. Typical targets for Turkish students: mid-tier 24-26, Top 50 30+, Ivy League 33+.
