The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) campus is located along the Charles River in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and is recognized for its distinctive architecture and beautifully maintained grounds. Green Building, officially known as the Cecil and Ida Green Building, is a 21-story structure housing the Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences. Completed in 1964, the Green Building is the tallest building on campus and a prominent landmark in the Cambridge skyline. MIT.nano, which opened in 2018, is a cutting-edge center dedicated to nanotechnology research.
