UCLA has a campus of approximately 170 hectares in the Westwood district of Los Angeles, approximately 8 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean and close to major Los Angeles attractions such as Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. On campus, Royce Hall and Powell Library are iconic buildings known for their Romanesque Revival architecture.
