The University of Minnesota - Twin Cities has two main campuses, in the cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota. The larger Minneapolis campus is divided into two distinct areas: the East Bank and the West Bank.
The East Bank holds the historic Northrop Mall, a central grassy corridor. Iconic buildings such as Northrop Auditorium, Walter Library, and Coffman Memorial Union flank it. The university's College of Liberal Arts, College of Science and Engineering, and Carlson School of Management are all in this area.
