Founded by the Pace brothers in 1906 with just a single classroom, Pace University today offers more than 200 degree programs across 6 schools and colleges to more than 14,000 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. International students from 120 different countries make up 11% of the student body.

How to get into Pace University

Academic qualifications obtained through programs such as GCE A-Level, International Baccalaureate, and Advanced Placement are not sufficient for direct admission on their own; however, students enrolled in these programs may request course credit based on the courses they have completed.

Pace University has two campuses: New York City and Westchester. In addition, the Elisabeth Haub School of Law, which houses the university's law school, is located approximately 5 minutes from the Westchester campus. The NYC campus, the university's main campus, is situated in Lower Manhattan, one of New York's most vibrant and dynamic neighborhoods.
Located at the Manhattan end of the Brooklyn Bridge and within walking distance of some of New York City's most iconic destinations — such as Wall Street and South Street Seaport — the NYC campus gives students the opportunity to experience New York culture up close. One Pace Plaza stands at the center of the NYC campus, where nearly all of the university's departments are located. Students at every Pace University campus can pursue their education in a multicultural environment.
Pace University offers students a variety of housing options on both campuses. At the NYC campus, students can stay in residence halls located on campus or within a 5–10 minute walk. Pace University provides dining options through its cafeterias as well as cafes and restaurants located on campus. In addition, a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops are available near the NYC campus at the center of the city. Students at the NYC campus — within walking distance of Chinatown and Little Italy — have the chance to experience the flavors of different cultures.
Transportation to the centrally located campuses is available via public transit such as buses and subways, as well as the university's own shuttle service. Pace University students can enrich their academic lives through more than 100 student clubs on campus and, taking advantage of the university's central location, gain access to a wide range of internship and career opportunities.
