How to get into Pace University

Pace University runs a preparatory program called "Global Pathways" that prepares first-year students for university life and helps them build their language proficiency.

If you are an international student applying to an undergraduate program at Pace University, you must meet the admission requirements listed below.

  • Completion of 12 Years of Basic Education
  • 4-Year High School Diploma
  • High GPA
  • Official transcripts listing the courses you took and the grades you received throughout your high school education
  • SAT or ACT Score
  • English Language Proficiency Certificate
    • An English proficiency certificate from an exam such as IELTS or TOEFL iBT
  • Personal Statement & Essay

Qualifications from programs such as GCE A-Level, International Baccalaureate, and Advanced Placement are not enough on their own for direct admission. If you study in one of these programs, you may request course credit for the courses you have completed.

Campus

Take a closer look at Pace University

Pace University has two campuses: New York City and Westchester. The Elisabeth Haub School of Law, which houses the university's law school, is about 5 minutes from the Westchester campus. The NYC campus is the main campus, and it is in Lower Manhattan, one of New York's most vibrant and dynamic neighborhoods. The campus stands at the Manhattan end of the Brooklyn Bridge. Some of New York City's most iconic destinations, such as Wall Street and South Street Seaport, are within walking distance. From there you can experience New York culture up close.

At the center of the NYC campus is One Pace Plaza, where nearly all of the university's departments are located. On every Pace University campus, you can pursue your education in a multicultural environment.

Campus Life

Pace University offers students a range of housing options on both campuses. At the NYC campus, you can stay in residence halls on campus or within a 5–10 minute walk. The university provides dining through its cafeterias, as well as cafes and restaurants on campus. Near the NYC campus, at the center of the city, you will also find a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Chinatown and Little Italy are within walking distance of the NYC campus, so you can taste the flavors of different cultures.

You can reach the centrally located campuses by public transit such as buses and subways, or by the university's own shuttle service.  Through more than 100 student clubs on campus, you can enrich your academic life. You can also take advantage of the university's central location to reach a wide range of internship and career opportunities.
