How to get into University of Utah
The University of Utah offers a preparatory program called the "Intensive English Program" to provide students entering their first year of university with English language proficiency.

The University of Utah campus is situated at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains and covers approximately 620 hectares, divided into four areas: the historic lower campus, the upper campus, the research park, and the medical campus. The historic lower campus is where the university was originally founded and contains some of the oldest and most iconic structures on campus — including Park Building, the oldest building on campus, and Rice-Eccles Stadium, home to the university's football team. The upper campus is where the majority of academic and administrative buildings are located, along with a large portion of the university's research facilities. It ranges from historic structures — such as the beautiful Gothic-style buildings of the College of Mines and Earth Sciences — to modern facilities like the state-of-the-art Carolyn and Kem Gardner Commons building. The medical campus is located approximately 5 kilometers from the main campus in Salt Lake City's Medical District and is home to the University of Utah Health Sciences Center, including the School of Medicine, School of Dentistry, and College of Pharmacy.
The University of Utah has a vibrant campus life. The university offers students a range of housing options, including traditional residence halls, apartment-style accommodations, and family housing. Themed living communities that bring together students with shared interests are also available.
