Nanjing University

Nanjing University is a research-focused public university founded in 1902 in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province in the People's Republic of China. Originally established as Sanjiang School in 1902, the university operated under the names National Southeastern University from 1921 to 1927, and National Central University from 1928 to 1949, before being renamed Nanjing University in 1950.

Merged with the University of Nanking in 1952, the university has maintained a high position in global university achievement rankings for many years and is a member of the prestigious C9 League, which comprises the most successful and prestigious universities in the People's Republic of China.

With approximately 3,600 international students, Nanjing University admits international students from more than 60 countries each year, led by the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy, and provides higher education opportunities to more than 40,000 students across its Gulou, Xianlin, Pukou, and Suzhou campuses.

Prospective students who wish to apply to undergraduate programs offered by Nanjing University must meet the following admission requirements.

• Completion of 12 Years of Primary and Secondary Education and Be at Least 18 Years of Age
• High GPA
• Have taken university entrance exams (TYT/AYT) administered by ÖSYM in Turkey and have been accepted by a university offering a 4-year bachelor's degree program

• SAT/ACT Exam Score
  or
• Advanced Placement (AP) Exam Scores
  or
• International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
  or
• GCE A-Level Diploma
• English proficiency certificate for programs taught in English
  • English proficiency certificate obtained through scores on English proficiency exams such as TOEFL or IELTS
• Chinese proficiency certificate for programs taught in Chinese
  • Chinese proficiency certificate obtained through scores on internationally recognized Chinese proficiency exams such as HSK (Hanyu shuiping kaoshi)
• Official transcripts listing the courses taken and grades received by the applicant throughout high school

• 4-Year Bachelor's Degree Diploma
• High GPA
• English proficiency certificate for programs taught in English
  • English proficiency certificate obtained through scores on English proficiency exams such as TOEFL or IELTS
• Chinese proficiency certificate for programs taught in Chinese
  • Chinese proficiency certificate obtained through scores on internationally recognized Chinese proficiency exams such as HSK (Hanyu shuiping kaoshi)
• Official transcripts listing the courses taken and grades received by the applicant throughout their university studies
• GRE/GMAT exam scores may be required depending on the department-specific admission requirements
