How to get into LUISS University
Prospective international students wishing to apply to undergraduate programs offered by LUISS University must meet the following admission requirements.
- Completion of 12 years of basic education (Students who completed high school in 11 years are required to complete 1 year of Foundation preparation.)
- Possession of an internationally recognized language certificate at a minimum B2 level for English-taught undergraduate or graduate programs in Italy (such as IELTS or TOEFL)
- Having taken the YKS exam (both TYT and AYT sessions must be completed.)
- Participation in and attainment of the required score on entrance exams administered by the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR) for undergraduate programs such as Medicine, Psychology, Engineering, Economics, and Architecture
- Alternatively, taking the SAT exam for programs such as Business and Economics
Prospective international students wishing to apply to postgraduate programs offered by LUISS University must meet the following admission requirements.
- 4-Year Bachelor's Degree
- High GPA
- Accumulation of at least 180 ECTS course credits during undergraduate study
- English Proficiency Certificate for programs taught in English (an English proficiency certificate obtained through internationally recognized English proficiency exams such as IELTS or TOEFL i-BT)
- Italian Proficiency Certificate for programs taught in Italian
