These scholarships are typically between 5,000 and 12,000 EUR per year and may be awarded to cover the full cost of one academic year's tuition. The DSU scholarship is one of Italy's best-known scholarships; it is a need-based grant awarded by the Italian government based on the student's family's financial situation. Students must have already received a university acceptance offer in order to apply for this scholarship.

How to get into Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore

International students wishing to apply to undergraduate programs offered by Cattolica University must meet the admission requirements listed below.

  • Completion of 12 years of basic schooling (Students who completed high school in 11 years are required to finish a one-year foundation/preparatory year.)
  • An internationally recognized language certificate at a minimum B2 level for English-taught undergraduate or graduate programs in Italy (such as IELTS or TOEFL)
  • Having taken the YKS exam (Both the TYT and AYT sessions are required.)
  • Participation in and achievement of the required score on the entrance exams organized by the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR) for undergraduate programs such as Medicine, Psychology, Engineering, Economics, and Architecture
  • Alternatively, taking the SAT exam for programs such as Business Administration and Economics

International students wishing to apply to graduate programs offered by Cattolica University must meet the admission requirements listed below.

  • 4-Year Bachelor's Degree Diploma
  • High GPA
  • At least 180 ECTS credits accumulated during undergraduate study
  • English Proficiency Certificate for programs taught in English (an English proficiency certificate obtained through internationally recognized exams such as IELTS or TOEFL iBT)
  • Italian Proficiency Certificate for programs taught in Italian
  • A GRE/GMAT score may be required depending on the specific admission requirements of the program applied to.
