How to get into Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore

If you are an international student applying to an undergraduate program at Cattolica University, you must meet the requirements below.

  • 12 years of basic schooling (If you finished high school in 11 years, you must complete a one-year foundation/preparatory year.)
  • An internationally recognized language certificate at a minimum B2 level for English-taught undergraduate or graduate programs in Italy (such as IELTS or TOEFL)
  • The YKS exam (Both the TYT and AYT sessions are required.)
  • Taking the entrance exams held by the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR) and reaching the required score, for undergraduate programs such as Medicine, Psychology, Engineering, Economics, and Architecture
  • Alternatively, the SAT exam for programs such as Business Administration and Economics

If you are an international student applying to a graduate program at Cattolica University, you must meet the requirements below.

  • A 4-year bachelor's degree diploma
  • A high GPA
  • At least 180 ECTS credits earned during your undergraduate study
  • An English proficiency certificate for programs taught in English (obtained through an internationally recognized exam such as IELTS or TOEFL iBT)
  • An Italian proficiency certificate for programs taught in Italian
  • A GRE/GMAT score may be required, depending on the admission requirements of the program you apply to.

The main campus sits in the heart of Milan, in the historic neighborhood of Sant'Ambrogio. Modern facilities stand among historic architecture.
