Camberwell College of Arts, a renowned art and design school, is located in southeast London, the capital of England and the United Kingdom. The vast majority of Camberwell College of Arts students live very close to the campus, and there are three student halls of residence within walking distance. In autumn 2020, a mixed-use development project was launched in Peckham: Eagle Wharf is planned to serve as a digital creativity hub for students, alumni, and local residents, as well as providing a new student residence building for University of the Arts London students. Central Saint Martins, a world-famous art and design school that brings together a wide range of creative practices under one roof, moved to its new building in King's Cross in 2011 and is located in a dynamic part of central London — the same neighborhood where companies such as Google, The Guardian, and Universal Music have their headquarters. Chelsea College of Arts, one of Britain's leading art and design institutions with an international reputation, is located at Millbank, right next to the famous Tate Britain.
