Camberwell College of Arts, a renowned art and design school, is located in southeast London, the capital of England and the United Kingdom. The vast majority of Camberwell College of Arts students live very close to the campus, and there are three student halls of residence within walking distance. In autumn 2020, a mixed-use development project was launched in Peckham: Eagle Wharf is planned to serve as a digital creativity hub for students, alumni, and local residents, as well as providing a new student residence building for University of the Arts London students.

Central Saint Martins, a world-famous art and design school that brings together a wide range of creative practices under one roof, moved to its new building in King's Cross in 2011 and is located in a dynamic part of central London — the same neighborhood where companies such as Google, The Guardian, and Universal Music have their headquarters. Chelsea College of Arts, one of Britain's leading art and design institutions with an international reputation, is located at Millbank, right next to the famous Tate Britain.

Chelsea College of Arts is home to the university's Transnational Art, Identity and Nation and Centre for Circular Design research centers, as well as the Institute of International Visual Arts and Stuart Hall Library. London College of Communication, which houses the university's departments of advertising, animation, film, graphic design, photography, and sound arts, is located in Elephant & Castle.

London College of Fashion, the UK's only higher education institution dedicated exclusively to fashion education, research, and consultancy, is located on John Prince's Street, just north of Oxford Circus. Additionally, London College of Fashion has campuses at High Holborn, Lime Grove in Shepherd's Bush, Mare Street in East London, Curtain Road, and Golden Lane. Wimbledon College of Arts, which joined University of the Arts London in 2006 and has trained countless designers, artists, musicians, directors, and writers, has campuses in Wimbledon and Merton Park in southwest London.

University of the Arts London, made up of six founding colleges and operating at numerous locations throughout London, England's capital, is deeply intertwined with the city's urban life. Camberwell College of Arts has approximately 2,200 students and is situated in a vibrant part of southeast London. Neighboring the famous South London Gallery, Camberwell College of Arts has four student halls — Portland House, Gardens House, Brooke Hall, and Archwood House — all just a short walk from the college.

Camberwell is an area in southeast London with excellent transport links to all parts of the city, including Brixton and Dalston. Popular local venues and creative businesses include DKUK, an innovative salon run by Camberwell alumnus Daniel Kelly, Balamii Radio, and Peckhamplex cinema. The area around Camberwell College of Arts has plenty of spots where students can enjoy their free time. The Hermits Cave, The Tiger, and The Stormbird pubs in Camberwell, and Rye Wax and Four Quarters in Peckham are great places to explore London's pub culture and are firm favorites among students.

For health and fitness activities, the Camberwell Leisure Centre — built in 1892 and recently renovated — features a swimming pool and sports facilities, while Peckham Levels offers street food stalls, pubs, and a yoga studio. Central Saint Martins, located in King's Cross and Archway, is conveniently close to a wide range of restaurants, pubs, cafes, parks, green spaces, and local shops in both areas. Canopy Market, Dishoom, and Hoppers are among the restaurants students frequently visit, while Camley Street Natural Park, Gasholder Park, and Granary Square are among the popular parks.

Chelsea College of Arts is located in Pimlico, central London — a neighborhood that is very close to lively areas of London such as the West End, South Bank, Brixton, and Peckham. Local pubs such as The White Swan are popular post-class hangouts for students. London College of Communication, located in Elephant and Castle, is close to places where students can enjoy their time after class — such as Mercato Metropolitano and Elephant Park — as well as museums and art galleries including the Imperial War Museum, Pullens Yards, Southwark Playhouse, and Tate Modern.

London College of Fashion is located right in the heart of Oxford Street on John Princes Street, close to London's main tourist attractions, points of interest, and numerous shops. Renowned art galleries and museums such as The Fashion Space Gallery, The Photographers' Gallery, and The Wallace Collection host year-round events that students at London College of Fashion will not want to miss. Wimbledon College of Arts, one of University of the Arts London's newest members, has approximately 700 students and is located in southwest London.

Just 15 minutes by train from the West End and Southbank in central London, Wimbledon College of Arts provides student accommodation at Fuzedown Student Village and the Glassyard Building. Within walking distance of the expansive green spaces of Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park, Wimbledon College of Arts is also conveniently close to the restaurants, pubs, cafes, museums, art galleries, shops, and cinemas of southwest London.
