How to get into University of Catania

- Having taken the YKS exam (both the TYT and AYT sessions are required)
- Participation in and achievement of the required score on the entrance exams administered by the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR) for undergraduate programs such as Psychology, Engineering, Economics, and Architecture
- Alternatively, sitting the SAT exam for programs such as Business Administration, Economics, etc.
International students wishing to apply to graduate programs offered by the University of Catania must meet the following admission requirements.
- A 4-Year Bachelor's Degree Diploma
- Strong GPA
- At least 180 ECTS credits accumulated during undergraduate studies
- English Proficiency Certificate for programs taught in English (an English proficiency certificate obtained through internationally recognized English proficiency exams such as IELTS or TOEFL iBT)
- Italian Proficiency Certificate for programs taught in Italian
