The University of Melbourne

The University of Melbourne began in 1853 and is one of Australia's oldest and most prestigious higher education institutions. It sits in the center of the city of Melbourne. Graduate

If you are an international student applying to a graduate program at the University of Melbourne, you must meet the admission requirements below.

• Bachelor's Degree Diploma
• High Grade Point Average
• Official transcripts of the courses you took during your college or university education
• Work experience may be required for certain programs
• Certificate in English proficiency (if you come from a country whose first language is not English)
  • This means a certificate in English proficiency from an internationally recognized test such as IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, CAE or CPE.
• A GRE/GMAT exam score may be required, depending on the specific admission requirements of certain programs.
• The University of Melbourne may also ask you to sit various exams and reach a sufficient score. This depends on the admission requirements specific to the program you apply to.
