Swinburne University of Technology operates across three campuses in Melbourne: Hawthorn, Croydon, and Wantirna. The Hawthorn Campus, the university's main campus, is located a 10-minute distance from Melbourne's central business district and hosts academic programs in health sciences, advanced manufacturing and design, applied sciences, entrepreneurship, aviation and aerospace, chemistry, and engineering.
The Croydon Campus, situated at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, and the Wantirna Campus, located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, host the university's technical and further education activities.
In addition to its state-of-the-art educational facilities, the Hawthorn Campus offers students a wealth of options thanks to the many cafes, restaurants, pubs, boutiques, and bookstores along Glenferrie Road. The majority of student clubs and organizations at the university operate on the Hawthorn Campus, and the university library on campus is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The George Swinburne Building, which serves as a hub for students, houses study spaces, game rooms, and student employment and health services.
The Croydon Campus, nestled at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, is surrounded by wide open green spaces and features walking trails students can use in their free time, in addition to on-campus cafes and restaurants.
