Undergraduate
Prospective international students who wish to apply to undergraduate programs offered by Technical University of Berlin must meet the admission requirements set out below.

- Then German authorities must first determine if a student’s certificates fulfill the requirements for High School diplomas from the USA. If these requirements are not fulfilled, then German authorities will evaluate if the student has successfully completed any years of study at a university.
- If a student has successfully completed one year of a bachelor‘s degree programme at a recognised university;
- Then the student qualifies to apply for the Studienkolleg (preparatory course) in Germany. Students may select a preparatory course in the same subject-area as their previous academic studies.
- If a student has successfully completed two years of a bachelor‘s degree programme at a recognised university;
- Then the student qualifies to apply for a bachelor‘s degree in Germany. Students may select a subject in the same subject-area as your previous academic studies.
Please note that TUBerlin requires proof of proficiency in the language of instruction for the chosen program. For programs taught in German, applicants typically need to present a TestDaF, DSH, or Goethe-Institut certificate. For English-taught programs, a TOEFL or IELTS score is usually required. The specific language requirements can vary by program.
Graduate
