Rutgers University runs three distinct campuses: Rutgers–New Brunswick, Rutgers–Newark, and Rutgers–Camden. Rutgers–New Brunswick is the university’s main campus, the largest one, and also the original one. It spans Middlesex County in New Jersey, in the city of New Brunswick and the adjacent community of Piscataway. It is made up of five smaller campuses, together with several buildings in downtown New Brunswick. The historic College Avenue Campus sits close to downtown New Brunswick and holds Old Queens, the university’s central hub.
It also includes other nineteenth- and early twentieth-century buildings that make up the Queens Campus and Voorhees Mall. On the New Brunswick Campus you will find 19 schools offering undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs.
