Hanover College

Hanover College sits on approximately 260 hectares of land on the banks of the Ohio River in Hanover, Indiana, United States of America. The campus is known for its woodlands, river views and natural beauty. It lies approximately 72 kilometers northeast of Louisville, Kentucky. The campus keeps its natural setting while giving easy access to the cultural and recreational amenities of a larger city. The campus has many important buildings and landmarks that contribute to its historic and academic atmosphere.

The iconic Old Main, built in the 19th century, serves as a symbol of the university's heritage and houses administrative offices and classrooms. The Duggan Library, in the center of campus, offers extensive resources and study spaces for students. These include academic clubs, cultural and diversity groups, and service societies. Music enthusiasts have the Hanover College Choir. Leadership development is also an important part of student life.

Programs such as Leadership Hanover and the Benjamin Templeton Scholars Program are designed to develop skills and encourage community involvement. Traditions play an important role in the Hanover College experience and contribute to a sense of community. The annual Hanoverfest is a major event that brings students, faculty and alumni together for a weekend of festivities, music and fun. Another cherished tradition is the May Day celebration. The May Queen is crowned and the May Pole dance is performed, symbolizing the coming of spring.

Throughout the year, students look forward to various events such as Homecoming and the President's Ball. The Spring Term Showcase is another, where you can present your research and creative projects.
