Although the university refers to its primary location as a campus, the buildings where the university operates are spread across various streets and neighborhoods south of Belfast city center, including University Road, University Square, University Street, Malone Road, and Stranmillis Road. The university library, which stands out among the university's facilities that underwent renovation starting in 2006 with a budget of approximately £260 million, has been almost entirely refurbished.
