How to get into Griffith College Dublin

Griffith College offers preparatory programs called the "Foundation Programme" and the "Foundation Year". They prepare incoming students for higher education and help them build English language proficiency.

Take a closer look at Griffith College Dublin

The main campus sits on a seven-acre historic site on South Circular Road, one mile from St. Stephen's Green in Dublin 8. Once Griffith Barracks, it brings together preserved 19th-century buildings and modern facilities. The main campus is home to the Leinster School of Music and Drama, founded in 1904. The school offers music and drama education and examinations throughout Ireland. On campus you will find 14 computer labs with the latest iMac and PC desktops.

There is also a 350-seat restaurant, a fitness center, a library, and student residences on campus. Griffith College also has a City Centre campus at 25 Wolfe Tone Street, Dublin 1. That campus offers a variety of professional and degree programs and is easy to reach by public transportation. Outside Dublin, the college has campuses in Cork and Limerick. The Cork campus on Wellington Road covers 5.3 acres and offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The Limerick campus on O'Connell Avenue has state-of-the-art facilities and a broad program offering.

Together, these campuses serve about 8,000 students, including a large international student population.

Campus Life

Griffith College Dublin sets out to support you academically and socially through the resources on campus. Campus facilities include comfortable dormitories, technologically equipped classrooms, libraries, fitness centers, restaurants, and creative studios. The campus is also home to various student clubs and organizations that enrich students' social lives with fun events and activities. The Student Union (SU) is the center of student engagement. It offers amenities such as pool tables, table tennis, PlayStation consoles, and streaming services like Netflix and Disney+.

The SU runs many events through the year, including pottery workshops, pub quizzes, and karaoke nights. It also organizes trips to local attractions such as the Guinness Storehouse. Annual celebrations such as Freshers Week, the Halloween Ball, and the Griffith Ball build a strong sense of community among students.
