Istituto Marangoni overview

Giulio Marangoni founded Istituto Marangoni in Milan in 1935 as a teaching space for tailors and pattern makers. By 1942 it had become a professional art school. Through the 1970s and 1980s, the school expanded its curriculum to include fashion design, product development, and marketing, as the fashion industry's demands grew.

International expansion began with the London campus in 2003, followed by Paris, Florence, and Dubai. Providence Equity Partners acquired the school in 2011, and it is now part of Galileo Global Education, Europe's largest non-profit higher education provider. The Italian Ministry of Education has recognized it as an AFAM institution since 2016. The school offers accredited degrees in music, dance, and the arts. Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK and the Commission Nationale de la Certification Professionnelle in France have validated the school's programs.

Its alumni network reaches more than 45,000 professionals in over 100 countries. Notable alumni include Franco Moschino, Alessandra Facchinetti, Sandra Mansour, and Alessandro Sartori.
