Adelphi University has two campuses in New York: Garden City and the Manhattan Center. The main campus in Garden City has been home to Adelphi University since 1929, spanning approximately 300 acres about 30 kilometers from downtown Manhattan. Ranked among the five safest campuses in the United States, the Garden City campus is filled with greenery and numerous walking paths. Home to the historic Levermore Hall and more than 10 academic buildings, Garden City hosts nearly all of the university's undergraduate schools and departments. The Manhattan Center, located in Holland Plaza — one of New York's iconic landmarks — provides services including financial aid, tutoring, career development, and student advising. In addition, the Manhattan Center offers study lounge areas where students can gather and collaborate.
With students from many different cultures, Adelphi University ensures that everyone can find an activity that suits them. Adelphi University hosts more than 100 student clubs, including the Astronomy and Space Club, the Mathematics Club, and the International Students Club. Adelphi University provides students with health services — including routine check-ups — as well as student advising services that support them throughout their transition to university and their academic journey. Safety-conscious Adelphi University offers transportation to and from the nearest subway and bus stations via the university's own Panther Express Shuttle, available 24/7. Additionally, there are 7 different residence halls on campus for Adelphi University students. The Garden City campus features numerous restaurants and cafes to suit every taste.
