Take a closer look at Adelphi University

Adelphi University has two campuses in New York: Garden City and the Manhattan Center. Garden City has been the main campus since 1929, covering about 300 acres some 30 kilometers from downtown Manhattan. It ranks among the five safest campuses in the United States, and it is filled with greenery and numerous walking paths. Here you will find the historic Levermore Hall and more than 10 academic buildings. Garden City hosts nearly all of the university's undergraduate schools and departments. The Manhattan Center is in Holland Plaza, one of New York's iconic landmarks.

It provides services including financial aid, tutoring, career development, and student advising. The Manhattan Center also offers study lounge areas where you can gather and work together.

 

Campus Life

Students come from many different cultures, and Adelphi University makes sure everyone can find an activity that suits them. The university hosts more than 100 student clubs, including the Astronomy and Space Club, the Mathematics Club, and the International Students Club. Adelphi University provides you with health services, including routine check-ups, as well as student advising that supports you through your transition to university and your academic journey. Adelphi University is safety-conscious.

It offers transportation to and from the nearest subway and bus stations via the university's own Panther Express Shuttle, available 24/7. There are also 7 different residence halls on campus for Adelphi University students. The Garden City campus has numerous restaurants and cafes to suit every taste. For sport, the university offers a wide range of facilities and opportunities. These include a 76-acre athletics complex, basketball and volleyball courts, a 10-mile running trail, a swimming pool, fitness centers, multi-sport grass fields, and tennis courts.
