Purdue University

Purdue University's main campus is in West Lafayette, Indiana, and it is the hub of the university's academic, research, and student life activities. Across 2,500 acres, the West Lafayette campus brings together traditional university architecture and state-of-the-art research facilities.

The main campus holds the university's well-known colleges. These include the College of Engineering, the Krannert School of Management, the College of Agriculture, and the College of Science. It also holds extensive research centers such as Discovery Park, which focuses on interdisciplinary innovation, and Purdue Research Park, one of the largest university-affiliated incubators in the U.S., which promotes entrepreneurship and technology transfer.

Boiler Gold Rush (BGR) is the university's well-known orientation program for incoming students. Through a week of social events, campus tours, and community-building activities, it helps new Boilermakers settle into university life.

The Purdue Memorial Union is run by students and serves as the hub of student activities, with lounges, dining, event spaces, and meeting rooms. Athletics and campus traditions are an important part of student life at Purdue. The Boilermakers compete in NCAA Division I sports as part of the Big Ten Conference.
