Yonsei University's Seoul Campus, Sinchon Campus, and Songdo Campus are described as "international campuses." The main campus is the Sinchon Campus. Yonsei University sits in Sinchon, about 6 km west of downtown Seoul. Walk from Sinchon Rotary toward Mt. Mu-Ak and you reach Baekyang-ro, the gateway to Yonsei University. The site of Yonhi Palace, now the grounds of today's Yonsei University, was once the residence of King Taejong.
The Sinchon Campus houses most of Yonsei University's academic departments, and its historic and high-tech buildings combine beautifully.
The university campuses are designed to meet students' needs. On the Yonsei University campuses you will find modern classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, cafés, restaurants, gyms, recreational areas and workshops, banks, and shopping centers. Campus life is quite vibrant. Through the many clubs, student events, concerts, theatrical productions, and musicals, you can experience a rich and lively international student life.
In the computer rooms on campus you can get online, carry out research, and complete assignments. The computer rooms are not open on Saturdays. At the Multimedia Center you can also prepare visual materials for your assignments and presentations.
The university campuses offer a variety of dormitory options for international students. The International Campus dormitories consist of 12 houses. Most first-year students at Yonsei University currently live in them for one year to complete the RC program requirements.
