Wesleyan College

The Wesleyan College campus in Macon, Georgia sits on 200 acres and gives students a setting that is calm and welcoming. You will see both historic and contemporary architecture, and buildings shaped for academic, residential, and recreational needs. The gardens create an atmosphere suited to concentration as well as rest. Classrooms, labs, and faculty offices are all found inside the academic buildings. The Munroe Science Center and Taylor Hall are two important buildings on campus.

Taylor Hall holds classrooms and faculty offices, while the Munroe Science Center focuses on teaching and research in the sciences.

On-campus living at Wesleyan College is provided in a wide selection of residence halls, each with its own character and atmosphere. These halls give you comfortable places to live and help build a sense of community among residents. You have access to a wide variety of materials, including books, journals, electronic resources, and study areas, all of them in the Willet Memorial Library, the campus's main library. The library helps you with research projects and offers other support services aimed at academic achievement.

Several places on campus are devoted to the arts and culture. The Grassmann-Porter Art Gallery shows work by regional and worldwide artists, and the Porter Auditorium hosts musical, theatrical, and dance productions. You have access to recreational and sporting facilities that include a fitness center, swimming pool, tennis courts, and fields for softball and soccer. The gardens, green spaces, and walking paths on campus also give you room for leisure and outdoor recreation. The Anderson Cabin, in a wooded part of the campus, often hosts retreats and other large gatherings.

The college puts a high priority on student health and safety, and it offers a wide variety of services to make the campus a more secure place to be. These include security on duty around the clock, emergency phones, and an escort service for students.
