How to get into University Of Twente
Prospective students wishing to apply to undergraduate programs offered by the University of Twente must meet the following admission requirements.
- Completion of 12 Years of Basic Education
- 4-Year High School Diploma
- Additionally, at least 4 Advanced Placement (AP) exam certificates with a minimum score of 3 — AP Capstone, AP Research, AP Seminar, and AP Studio Art are not accepted.
- Strong GPA
or - At least 3 A-Levels and at least 3 IGCSE subjects (Grade range: A*–C)
or - European Baccalaureate Diploma
or - International Baccalaureate Diploma (Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay, CAS + courses taken from groups 1 through 5 or 1 through 6, with at least three of those courses at HL)
or - 4-Year High School Diploma and admission to and completion of the first year of a bachelor's program at an internationally recognized university offering a 4-year bachelor's degree in Turkey
- In addition, the university may request to see the applicant's YKS exam results.
- For programs taught in English: an English proficiency certificate
- An English proficiency certificate obtained through recognized English proficiency exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, CPE, or CAE
- Additionally, depending on the program-specific admission requirements, universities may ask students to take various exams relevant to their chosen field of study.
Prospective students wishing to apply to graduate programs offered by the University of Twente must meet the following admission requirements.
- 4-Year Bachelor's Degree Diploma
- Strong GPA
- Completion of at least 180 ECTS credits during undergraduate study
- For programs taught in English: an English Proficiency Certificate
- An English proficiency certificate obtained through internationally recognized English proficiency exams such as IELTS or TOEFL iBT
- Depending on the program-specific admission requirements, a GRE/GMAT score may be requested.
