The university's campus is located on Clear Water Bay Peninsula. Spread across 60 hectares, the campus architecture is based on a master plan jointly submitted by Simon Kwan & Associates and Percy Thomas Partnership, which placed second in an architectural competition held before the university was established. Because the campus sits on sloping terrain, academic facilities are located on the upper terraces while undergraduate student residences and sports facilities are positioned by the waterfront. You can reach the university from the city center by MTR, public bus, or minibus.
The university campus features modern classrooms and workshops, state-of-the-art laboratories, cafes and restaurants where students can socialize, a large library, and student residence halls. There are a total of 18 cafes and restaurants on campus. At the waterfront and mid-level terraces of the university campus, there are 9 residence halls in total for undergraduate students.
The university's Lee Shau Kee Library occupies a central location on campus. The library has 5 floors and contains study rooms where students can study, conduct research, and work on assignments and projects. The library also includes a Learning Commons that operates 24 hours a day, providing a technology-rich environment for active learning and instruction. The library also holds a collection of historical maps of China and the rest of Asia produced by Chinese and Western cartographers over the past 500 years.
