The University of Zurich has four campuses spread across the city of Zurich: the City Campus, the Irchel Campus, the Oerlikon Campus and the Schlieren Campus. On these four campuses, where the seven faculties of the University of Zurich are scattered, members of the University have access to the facilities of the ETH Library and the Zurich Central Library, which has a collection of more than 5 million publications.

In addition to the faculties and libraries, the four campuses of the University of Zurich are home to 14 museums, including the Institute and Museum of the History of Medicine, the Anatomical Collection, the Archaeological Collection, the Botanical Museum, the Museum of Wax Mulajes, the Science Discovery Hall, the Museum of Veterinary History, the Herbarium of Zurich, the Museum of Anthropology, the Botanical Garden, the Ethnographic Museum, the Paleontological Museum, the Anatomy Collection of Veterinary Medicine and the Museum of Zoology.

Campus Life

At the University of Zurich, which has nearly 100 student societies, students are engaged in archaeology, art history, biochemistry, communication and media research, general and comparative literature, cultural studies, economics, geography, educational science and many more. The University of Zurich is divided into 4 campuses located at strategic points in the city of Zurich and offers students quiet study areas, cafes, restaurants and pubs where they can enjoy themselves, university cafeterias where they can eat, and computer facilities for their studies.
