Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia

Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia is a private university founded in 1996 in Murcia, a city in southeastern Spain. Next to other universities in Europe and Spain, it is a young institution. Since its founding, it has been committed to contributing to the transfer of human knowledge and the advancement of research through the critical, responsible, and creative freedom of the individual. To this end, the university has built a quality management system for its teaching, research, and services.

The system is designed to make educational activities and research more effective, and to foster healthy human relations among all members of the university community. Its campus is in Guadalupe, just outside the city of Murcia. There the university provides higher education opportunities to more than 21,000 students in business, law, engineering, health sciences, and social sciences.

Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia offers undergraduate and graduate programs taught in English, but most of its programs are taught in Spanish. The university offers one-year preparatory programs for incoming international students. They prepare you for higher education and help you reach proficiency in English or Spanish. The programs are called the “English Preparatory Year” and the “Spanish Preparatory Year.”

International students applying to the university’s undergraduate programs must also meet the following requirements:

• Completion of 12 Years of Basic Education
• 4-Year High School Diploma (with a strong GPA)
• Placement through the YKS exam at a university in Turkey that offers a 4-year bachelor’s degree and is recognized by Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia for the program you wish to study
  or
• International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
  or
• Acceptance into a university in Turkey that offers a 4-year bachelor’s degree and is recognized by Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia, with completion of the first year of the undergraduate program
• English Proficiency Certificate
  • An English proficiency certificate from recognized exams such as FCE, IELTS, TOEFL iBT, Duolingo, or PTE Academic
• Spanish Proficiency Certificate for programs taught in Spanish
  • A Spanish proficiency certificate from recognized exams such as DELE, SIELE, CELU, or TELC Spanish
• Official transcripts listing the courses you took and the grades you received in high school

Some students complete their 12 years of basic education outside the European Union and the European Economic Area, without an international diploma or qualification program. International students applying to the university’s graduate programs must meet the following requirements:

• 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree Diploma
• Strong GPA
• English Proficiency Certificate
  • An English proficiency certificate from recognized exams such as IELTS, TOEFL iBT, or PTE Academic
• Spanish Proficiency Certificate for programs taught in Spanish
  • A Spanish proficiency certificate from recognized exams such as DELE, SIELE, CELU, or TELC Spanish
• Official transcripts listing the courses you took and the grades you received during undergraduate study
• GRE/GMAT scores may be required, based on the specific admission requirements of the program you apply to.
