The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, founded in 1825 in Karlsruhe in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, is a research-oriented public university and a national research center within the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centers, one of the largest research and education organizations in Germany. Karlsruhe Institute of Technology reached its current status when the University of Karlsruhe — also known as Fridericiana, which had been established in 1825 as a research university — merged with the Karlsruhe Research Center in 2009.
A member of the TU9 alliance of the nine largest and most successful universities in Germany, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology today provides higher education to more than 22,000 students through 415 faculty members and more than 10,000 employees.

- Placement through the YKS exam into a program at a university recognized by Karlsruhe Institute of Technology that offers a 4-year bachelor's degree in Turkey in the field you wish to study at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology
- Karlsruhe Institute of Technology may request to review your YKS exam results in accordance with the admission requirements.
- German Language Proficiency Certificate (a German proficiency certificate obtained through scores from exams such as TestDaF, telc, or Goethe-Zertifikat)

Karlsruhe Institute of Technology has 4 campuses located in various areas: the North Campus, the South Campus, the East Campus, and the West Campus. The North Campus is situated in the Karlsruhe administrative district near Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen, while the South Campus is located in the center of the city of Karlsruhe, approximately 10 km away. In addition to the East and West Campuses, which host various faculties and departments, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology also has a Project Management Agency in Dresden and an Institute of Meteorology and Climate Research on Kreuzeckbahnstraße.
Transportation between campuses can be arranged by bus, tram, or the university's own shuttle vehicles.
The campuses of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology are not limited to research laboratories and lecture halls. In addition to academic activities, cultural events such as exhibitions and concerts, public lectures, and sports activities take place on a regular basis. The KIT Student Union and the many student organizations within the university bring together enthusiasts of virtually every interest.
