Drew University is located in Madison, New Jersey, in the United States, approximately 40 kilometers west of New York City. Drew University's main campus — known as “The Forest” for its dense woodland setting and close connection with nature — covers roughly 75 acres and is just a 10-minute walk from Madison train station, which connects the campus to midtown Manhattan in under an hour. The “Drew Forest Preserve,” which occupies 32 acres of the campus, along with the university's botanical garden, is home to dozens of tree and animal species and serves as a natural laboratory for students in biology and life sciences.
