How to get into University of Gothenburg
Prospective international students wishing to apply to undergraduate programs offered by the University of Gothenburg must meet the following admission requirements.
- Completion of 12 Years of Compulsory Education
- 4-Year High School Diploma
- High GPA
or - European Baccalaureate (EB) Diploma
or - International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
or - GCE A-Level / International GCE A-Level Diploma
or - Having completed and sat examinations for courses under the Advanced Placement (AP) program that are relevant to the undergraduate program the applicant is applying to
- English Language Proficiency Certificate
- An English Language Proficiency Certificate obtained through the scores of English proficiency exams such as IELTS, TOEFL iBT, or Pearson PTE Academic
Prospective international students wishing to apply to graduate programs offered by the University of Gothenburg must meet the following admission requirements.
- 4-Year Bachelor's Degree Diploma
- High GPA
- Having accumulated at least 180 ECTS credits during university studies
- English Language Proficiency Certificate
- An English Language Proficiency Certificate obtained through the scores of English proficiency exams such as IELTS, TOEFL iBT, or Pearson PTE Academic
- A GRE/GMAT score may be required in accordance with the specific admission requirements of the program applied to.
