Chalmers University of Technology has two campuses in Gothenburg: the Johanneberg Campus and the Lindholmen Campus. Both sit very close to the city center.
Gothenburg's extensive public transportation network connects the Johanneberg and Lindholmen Campuses. Johanneberg is the university's largest and oldest campus, in the Johanneberg neighborhood of Gothenburg.
Part of the teaching and the vast majority of the research take place on this campus. Johanneberg is home to the Faculties of Architecture and Engineering, and it also houses the Chalmers University of Technology Student Union building.
The Lindholmen Campus stands on Norra Älvstranden, on the north bank of the Göta River. Norra Älvstranden is one of the most modern and rapidly developing neighborhoods. The campus works as a bridge between the university and innovative industry leaders across a wide range of fields.
