How to get into Lund University

Lund University offers a preparatory program called the “Summer Preparatory Programme” to help incoming students prepare for higher education and develop language proficiency. 

That said, prospective students wishing to apply to undergraduate programs offered by Lund University must meet the following admission requirements.

Lund University has a main campus in the city of Lund, Sweden, and various satellite campuses in different cities, each focused on specific academic disciplines.

The Lund campus is the heart of the university, hosting most of its eight faculties and historic buildings such as the University Main Building, Lund Cathedral, and AF Borgen, a student union center dating back to 1851.

The Lund campus is renowned for its blend of historic charm and modern facilities, including IDEON Science Park, Sweden’s first research park, which fosters innovation and collaboration among students, researchers, and industry.

Beyond Lund, the university has additional campuses in Helsingborg, Malmö, and Ljungbyhed, each focused on specialized areas. The Helsingborg campus, located approximately 50 km from Lund, offers programs in strategic communication, service management, and engineering, serving more than 4,000 students.

The Malmö campus is home to the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts, where students study music, theater, and fine arts in a dynamic and creative environment. In Ljungbyhed, Lund University collaborates with the Swedish aviation industry to offer programs in aviation science and flight training.
