Czech Technical University (ČVUT) has a multi-campus structure, with its faculties and research centers spread across different districts of Prague. The main and largest campus is located in Dejvice, known as the city's technical and scientific hub. This campus is home to major faculties including the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, and Faculty of Information Technology. The Dejvice campus is shared with other prestigious institutions such as the Institute of Chemical Technology (VŠCHT) and the National Technical Library, making it an important center for research and collaboration. The area features modern lecture halls, advanced laboratories, and innovation centers where students and researchers work on projects related to robotics, artificial intelligence, and sustainable engineering. In addition to the Dejvice campus, ČVUT has other facilities. The Faculty of Architecture is housed in a building on Thákurova Street. The Faculty of Biomedical Engineering is located in the city of Kladno, near Prague, and the university also operates several specialized research centers and institutes, including the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (CIIRC), a leader in artificial intelligence, automation, and Industry 4.0 innovation.

Campus Life

One of the most prominent student groups is eForce Formula Student, which designs and builds electric racing cars for international competitions. Another notable organization is IAESTE ČVUT, which provides students with internship opportunities abroad. The university also fosters a strong entrepreneurial culture through innovation centers such as the ČVUT InQbay startup incubator, which helps students develop and launch new technology-based ventures.
