Campus

Take a closer look at Prague University of Economics and Business

Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE) works from its main campus in Žižkov, in central Prague. This campus is the heart of the university, and it holds most of the faculties, administrative offices, and student facilities. The Žižkov campus has modern conference halls, research centers, libraries, and the well-known Winston Churchill Square, named after the British Prime Minister. One of the most prominent buildings is the Rajska Building, which contains modern auditoriums, IT laboratories, and an extensive library.

The Vencovský Auditorium, a large multipurpose hall, is used for international conferences, graduation ceremonies, and lectures by distinguished guests. Žižkov also has dormitories, sports facilities, and dining services, which together give you a rounded academic and social environment. Besides Žižkov, VŠE runs the Jižní Město campus in the south of Prague. This campus mainly serves students of the Faculty of Business Administration and offers a more specialized academic setting. Here you will find modern teaching spaces, a library, and student accommodation.

Žižkov carries the lively urban atmosphere of the city center, while Jižní Město is quieter, with a more local student community. Beyond these main campuses, VŠE has partnerships with international institutions, so you can join exchange programs in Europe, Asia, and North America.

Campus Life

The Žižkov campus is the university's main hub, and it gives students a lively urban setting for networking, collaboration, and social life. VŠE is home to many student organizations, including the Student Union, ESN VŠE (Erasmus Student Network), and CEMS Club Prague. Each of them runs activities that range from cultural events to career development programs. The Rajska Building holds popular student spaces such as modern study lounges, cafes, and group project rooms.

Events such as Welcome Week for international students, career fairs, and academic competitions like VŠE Talent and Business Case Challenges enrich student engagement further. The Žižkov campus also has sports facilities, including gyms and a sports hall. There you can play volleyball or basketball, or take part in other recreational activities. Student life at the Jižní Město campus is somewhat more intimate and community-focused, serving mainly Faculty of Business Administration students.

Various student clubs, networking opportunities, and academic events on management and leadership skills are held on this campus. The dormitories at Jižní Město provide on-campus accommodation, which builds a close-knit student environment. Both campuses benefit from Prague's excellent public transportation network, so you can easily reach the city's historic sites, cultural venues, and nightlife. VŠE also supports international students through a Buddy Program, which pairs Czech students with incoming exchange students to help them settle into university life.
