Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia is a research-oriented public university founded in 1972 in Johor Bahru, the capital of Malaysia's Johor state. Established as a technical school in 1904, the institution has continued to expand since its founding and has played a major role in Malaysia's academic development.

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia has partnership agreements with highly prestigious universities such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Imperial College London, the University of Cambridge, the University of Leeds, and the University of Oxford, and also collaborates with industry leaders such as Intel, Altera, Dyson, Alcon, Shell, and Proton. The second-largest public university in the country after Universiti Putra Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia provides higher education to approximately 22,000 students across its campuses in Skudai, Kuala Lumpur, and Pagoh.
