Gilmorehill Campus is the university's main campus, at the western end of the city. You can reach it from the city center by public transportation, or even on foot.
Most of the university's teaching and research facilities are here. In the near future, Gilmorehill Campus is planned to be developed and expanded with a budget of £1 billion.
The campus has a 25-meter swimming pool, two student unions, the university's museum and art gallery, and a 12-story library.
The area around Gilmorehill Campus, at the western end of Glasgow, holds a large number of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, and supermarkets. Garscube Campus lies on the northwest boundary of Glasgow, covers 81 hectares, and is only 6.5 kilometers from Gilmorehill Campus, the university's main campus.
Garscube Campus houses the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Wolfson University Halls of Residence. Its outdoor sports facilities include both grass and synthetic pitches.
Dumfries Campus, the university's third campus, is in southwest Scotland. It covers 34 hectares and sits in the stunning Scottish countryside.
It is only 2 hours from Glasgow and Edinburgh, and just one hour from Carlisle. Dumfries Campus shares library and information technology facilities with the University of the West of Scotland and Dumfries and Galloway College.
More than 80,000 students live in Glasgow, Scotland's second largest city and the fifth largest in the United Kingdom.
The cost of living in Glasgow is 43% lower compared to London. Gilmorehill Campus, the university's main campus, is within walking distance of the city center. Its University Library is open 361 days a year, from 7:25 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. The collection holds 2.5 million books and publications, as well as more than 800,000 e-books and electronic publications.
Every floor of the 12-story library has wireless internet and hundreds of computers available to students, and there are more than 2,500 study spaces.
The Barclay Medical Centre provides services in the Fraser Building on Gilmorehill Campus, the university's main campus.
The university is at the western end of Glasgow, just 3.2 kilometers from the city center. You can get there by bus, bicycle, subway, or even on foot.
From the main campus, the subway takes you to the city center in just 10 minutes.
You can live in on-campus housing or in a private apartment off campus.
On-campus housing comes with 39- to 52-week lease agreements. All units have 24/7 internet access, and the accommodation fee includes access to the university's sports facilities.
