Gilmorehill Campus, the main campus of the University of Glasgow, is located at the western end of the city, yet is easily accessible from the city center by public transportation or even on foot.
Gilmorehill Campus, which houses the majority of the university's teaching and research facilities, is planned to be developed and expanded with a budget of £1 billion in the near future.
Gilmorehill Campus features a 25-meter swimming pool, two student unions, the university's museum and art gallery, and a 12-story library.
The area surrounding Gilmorehill Campus at the western end of Glasgow is home to a large number of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, and supermarkets. Garscube Campus, located on the northwest boundary of Glasgow and covering an area of 81 hectares, is only 6.5 kilometers from Gilmorehill Campus, the university's main campus.
The University of Glasgow's Garscube Campus houses the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Wolfson University Halls of Residence, and outdoor sports facilities that include both grass and synthetic pitches.
Dumfries Campus, the University of Glasgow's third campus, is located in southwest Scotland, covers an area of 34 hectares, and is nestled in the stunning Scottish countryside.
It is only 2 hours from Glasgow and Edinburgh and just one hour from Carlisle. Dumfries Campus shares library and information technology facilities with the University of the West of Scotland and Dumfries and Galloway College.

The university is located at the western end of Glasgow, just 3.2 kilometers from the city center, and is easily accessible by bus, bicycle, subway, or even on foot.
It takes just 10 minutes by subway to reach the city center from the main campus.
Students have the option of living in on-campus housing or in private apartments off campus.
