University of Turkish Aeronautical Association

University of Turkish Aeronautical Association is a foundation university established in 2011 in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. As Turkey's first aviation and space sciences university, University of Turkish Aeronautical Association was founded with the goal of training qualified individuals to meet the need for skilled personnel in Turkey's aviation and aerospace sectors, and is supported by the Turkish Aeronautical Association Aviation Foundation.

Although University of Turkish Aeronautical Association is still a young institution of higher education, it currently provides higher education opportunities to more than 3,000 students through 4 faculties — the Faculty of Air Transportation, the Faculty of Aeronautics and Space Sciences, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Business Administration — along with 2 schools and 1 institute.

The language of instruction at University of Turkish Aeronautical Association is English. Accordingly, prospective students are first required to take a placement and proficiency exam, and based on their score, they may either begin undergraduate studies directly or start a preparatory program. Additionally, students who have achieved a sufficient score on proficiency exams administered by OSYM, such as TOEFL i-BT, PTE-Academic, or YDS, may apply for an exemption from the preparatory program.

Prospective students who wish to apply to the undergraduate programs offered by University of Turkish Aeronautical Association must fulfill the admission requirements listed below.

For Turkish Students:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum YKS Base Score: 207.55494
• Maximum YKS Base Score: 463.0183

For International Students:

• SAT, ACT, Abitur, or Matura score
  or
• International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or GCE A-Level Certificate
• Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate

For Preparatory Exemption:

• TOEFL i-BT, PTE-Academic, or YDS Proficiency Exam Score, or THKU Proficiency Exam Score
