Türk Hava Kurumu Üniversitesi

Türk Hava Kurumu Üniversitesi is a foundation university established in 2011 in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. As Turkey's first aviation and space sciences university, Türk Hava Kurumu Üniversitesi was founded with the goal of training qualified individuals to meet the need for skilled personnel in Turkey's aviation and aerospace sectors, and is supported by the Turkish Aeronautical Association Aviation Foundation.

Although Türk Hava Kurumu Üniversitesi is still a young institution of higher education, it currently provides higher education opportunities to more than 3,000 students through 4 faculties — the Faculty of Air Transportation, the Faculty of Aeronautics and Space Sciences, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Business Administration — along with 2 schools and 1 institute.

The language of instruction at Türk Hava Kurumu Üniversitesi is English. Accordingly, prospective students are first required to take a placement and proficiency exam, and based on their score, they may either begin undergraduate studies directly or start a preparatory program. Additionally, students who have achieved a sufficient score on proficiency exams administered by OSYM, such as TOEFL i-BT, PTE-Academic, or YDS, may apply for an exemption from the preparatory program.

• Maximum YKS Base Score: 463.0183

For International Students:

• SAT, ACT, Abitur, or Matura score

• International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or GCE A-Level Certificate
• Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate

For Preparatory Exemption:

• TOEFL i-BT, PTE-Academic, or YDS Proficiency Exam Score, or THKU Proficiency Exam Score
