How to get into İstanbul Arel Üniversitesi
Certain undergraduate programs at İstanbul Arel University are taught in English; accordingly, prospective students are first required to take a placement and proficiency exam. Based on their score on this exam, students may either proceed directly to their undergraduate studies or begin a preparatory program. Additionally, students who have achieved a sufficient score on proficiency exams such as TOEFL iBT, IELTS, or Cambridge ESOL (FCE/CAE/CPE), or on ÖSYM and YÖK-administered exams such as YDS, E-YDS, or YÖKDİL may apply for an exemption from the preparatory program.

- Maximum YKS Base Score: 430.01772
For International Students;
- SAT, ACT, Abitur, or Matura score
or - International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or A-Level Certificate
or - İstanbul Arel University International Student Exam (ARELYÖSS) score
- Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate
For Preparatory Exemption;
