Institut Teknologi Bandung

Institut Teknologi Bandung is a research-oriented public university founded in 1920 in Bandung, the capital of West Java province, Indonesia. Established in 1920 under the name Technische Hoogeschool te Bandoeng during the Dutch colonial period in Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Bandung is the most successful higher education institution in the country for education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. It has produced many of the country's leading figures — particularly in the natural sciences, engineering, politics, and business — and ranks among the most selective institutions for student admissions in Indonesia. A member of numerous organizations and consortia, including ASAIHL, AUN, and the EBA Consortium, the institute provides higher education to approximately 20,000 students across its Ganesha, Jatinangor, and Cirebon campuses.

Prospective international students wishing to apply to undergraduate programs offered by Institut Teknologi Bandung must meet the admission requirements listed below.

• Must be no older than 22 years of age as of August 1, 2022.
• Must have completed 12 years of basic education.
• 4-year high school diploma
• Strong GPA
• SAT exam score
• English proficiency documentation
  • English proficiency certificate obtained through IELTS or TOEFL iBT exam scores

Students applying to programs in Architecture, Fine Arts, Interior Design, Visual Communication Design, and Product Design are required to take an online aptitude test administered by the university.
