Originally established as the Faculty of Basic Sciences and Education and later expanded to attain university status, İnönü University has one of the largest campuses among Turkish universities, covering an area of 7,000 decares.

How to get into İnönü Üniversitesi
Some undergraduate programs at İnönü University are taught in English; accordingly, prospective students are first required to take a placement and proficiency exam. Based on their score on this exam, students may either proceed directly to their undergraduate studies or begin a preparatory program. Additionally, students who have achieved a sufficient score on proficiency exams such as TOEFL iBT, FCE, CAE, PTE Academic, or ÖSYM-administered exams such as YDS or YÖKDİL may apply for an exemption from the preparatory program.

For International Students;
- SAT, ACT, Abitur, or Matura score
or - International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or GCE A-Level Certificate
or - İnönü University International Student Exam (İÜYÖS) score
- Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate
For Preparatory Exemption;
- TOEFL iBT, FCE, CAE, PTE Academic, YDS, or YÖKDİL proficiency exam score
