İnönü Üniversitesi

İnönü University is a public university founded in 1975 in Malatya, Turkey. Originally established as the Faculty of Basic Sciences and Education and later expanded to attain university status, İnönü University has one of the largest campuses among Turkish universities, covering an area of 7,000 decares.

Today it provides higher education opportunities to approximately 35,000 students through 14 faculties — including the Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Science and Letters, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Communication, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Sports Sciences, and Faculty of Medicine — along with 1 college, 4 vocational schools, 1 state conservatory, 6 institutes, and 26 research and application centers.

Some undergraduate programs at İnönü University are taught in English; accordingly, prospective students are first required to take a placement and proficiency exam. Based on their score on this exam, students may either proceed directly to their undergraduate studies or begin a preparatory program. Additionally, students who have achieved a sufficient score on proficiency exams such as TOEFL iBT, FCE, CAE, PTE Academic, or ÖSYM-administered exams such as YDS or YÖKDİL may apply for an exemption from the preparatory program.

Prospective students wishing to apply to undergraduate programs offered by İnönü University must meet the admission requirements listed below.

For Turkish Students;

• High School Diploma
• Minimum YKS Base Score: 203.00854
• Maximum YKS Base Score: 417.55718

For International Students;

• SAT, ACT, Abitur, or Matura score
  or
• International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or GCE A-Level Certificate
  or
• İnönü University International Student Exam (İÜYÖS) score
• Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate

For Preparatory Exemption;

• TOEFL iBT, FCE, CAE, PTE Academic, YDS, or YÖKDİL proficiency exam score
