Chulalongkorn University (CU)

Chulalongkorn University is located in Bangkok, Thailand. Founded in March 1917, Chulalongkorn University is Thailand's first institution of higher education. However, the foundational and preparatory work for the university's establishment took place nearly half a century earlier. As the oldest institution of higher education in Thailand, the university has carried its deep-rooted tradition into contemporary standards. 

Chulalongkorn University is a comprehensive, research-intensive, and prestigious institution. It has been ranked as the best university in Thailand in numerous local and international surveys. As one of Thailand's most respected institutions, it is one of the National Research Universities. The university is also supported by Thailand's Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment.

International prospective students wishing to pursue an undergraduate education at Chulalongkorn University must meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma / IB diploma
• Transcripts
• Language proficiency documents
• CU-AAT (Mathematics Section and Verbal Section) score: 1200
• SAT (Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) score: 1270
• Statement of purpose
• Application fee: 1,500 baht

International prospective students wishing to pursue a graduate education at Chulalongkorn University must meet the following requirements:

• Letter of recommendation
• Application fee: 1,500 baht
• GRE/GMAT scores may be required for some programs

Applicants must be at least 17 years old and must have completed or be in the process of completing M6 or an equivalent level as determined by Chulalongkorn University.
