The University of Helsinki Funds include more than 300 funds established by alumni and other supporters. The university provides scholarships and grants to high-achieving international students. Applications open on January 16 and close on February 8, 2023.

How to get into University of Helsinki
Prospective students wishing to pursue undergraduate programs at the University of Helsinki must meet the following requirements:

- Transcript documents
- A certificate of English proficiency (TOEFL: 92 / IELTS: 6.5)
- Matriculation exam results
- Motivation letter
- Depending on the program, SAT/ACT scores may be required.

The university consists of four main campuses:
- City Centre Campus
- Kumpula Campus
- Meilahti Campus
- Viikki Campus
The City Centre Campus has been the hub of the university's main activities and work areas since it relocated from Turku to Helsinki in the early 19th century. The campus is centrally situated and reflects the architectural character of this part of the city. The Kumpula Campus, which is home to the Faculty of Science, is located four kilometers north of the Helsinki city center. The Meilahti Campus, which houses the Faculty of Medicine, is part of the Meilahti Hospital on the edge of the city center. The Ruskeasuo facilities — including the Department of Dentistry, the Institute of Oral Health, the Department of Public Health, and the Department of Forensic Medicine — are also on the Meilahti Campus. The Viikki Campus, which is home to the Faculties of Agriculture and Forestry, Biological Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, and Pharmacy, is located approximately 8 kilometers northeast of the city center.
The university campuses are home to state-of-the-art lecture halls and workshops, modern student dormitories, a variety of cafes and restaurants where students can spend enjoyable time, and bookstores and stationery shops to meet students' needs. Student life at the university is vibrant, and the campuses are designed with students' needs in mind.
The university campuses feature large and important libraries where students can study and conduct research. The National Library of Finland is the leading research library in Finland and serves as the main branch of the University of Helsinki's library system. The university's other library, the University of Helsinki Main Library, is used by students for research and study.
The University of Helsinki Museum, one of the university's prominent landmarks located on campus, was established in 2003 through the merger of the former University Museum specializing in University of Helsinki history, the Museum of the History of Medicine, the Museum of the History of Veterinary Medicine, the Museum of the History of Dentistry, and the Craft Collections.
