TOBB University of Economics and Technology was founded in 2003 by the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Education and Culture Foundation, an affiliate of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey. Its campus is located in the heart of Ankara. TOBB ETU provides education to approximately 7,000 students across 6 faculties and 3 institutes. Distinguished from other universities by its Cooperative Education Program, TOBB ETU gives students the opportunity to work in their field of study at partner organizations during their academic career.
The Cooperative Education Program is implemented in 3 of the 8 academic semesters. The main campus of TOBB ETU, located in Ankara’s Beştepe district, also houses a Faculty of Medicine.
