How to get into The University of Auckland
If you are new to university study, the University of Auckland offers preparation through the program known as "English Language Courses for International Students."
If you want to apply to an undergraduate program at the University of Auckland, you must also meet the admission conditions listed below.

Take a closer look at The University of Auckland
The University of Auckland has 6 campuses, 8 faculties, and two large-scale research institutes. The campuses are the City Campus, Newmarket Campus, Epsom Campus, Grafton Campus, Tai Tokerau Campus, and South Auckland Campus.
The City Campus sits in the heart of Auckland, a short walk from the city's main cultural, entertainment, and commercial centers. On campus you will find cafes, health facilities, libraries, childcare facilities, and a recreation center.
The new Newmarket Campus was built on a 5-hectare site next to Newmarket's commercial district. It is planned to give the University of Auckland room to expand over the next 50 years. The Engineering and Science faculties will be among the first to move into this space.
The Newmarket Campus brings together the City Campus and Grafton Campus to form an integrated campus cluster within the city of Auckland.
The Epsom Campus is the main campus for the Faculty of Education and Social Work, and is home to approximately 3,500 students. It offers foundation, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs in teacher education, sport and health, physical education, social work, and counseling. A 10-minute drive from the City and Grafton Campuses, it has parking, recreational facilities, and the Sylvia Ashton-Warner Library. That library is one of New Zealand's most comprehensive teacher education libraries.
The Grafton Campus was originally established as the home campus of the Faculty of Medicine. It now houses the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, along with a cafe, health facilities, and the Philson Library.
Many of the University of Auckland's clinics are also at the Grafton Campus. The Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences runs clinical campuses and clinical sites in hospitals throughout the North Island.
The Tai Tokerau Campus is right in the center of Whangārei. It accommodates approximately 200 students who prefer to live in the North. It also hosts the courses offered under the University of Auckland's foundation programs, New Start and the Tertiary Foundation Certificate.
The new South Auckland Campus is where teacher candidates specializing in primary education are trained, along with other University of Auckland foundation programs.
The University of Auckland also has a marine laboratory, the Leigh Marine Laboratory, approximately 100 kilometers north of Auckland city. It also has a Wine Science Centre at Goldie Estate on Waiheke Island.
The City Campus is the University of Auckland's main campus, close to the city's entertainment and commercial centers. On campus you will find cafes, libraries, a recreation center, and health and childcare facilities.
The Epsom Campus is a 10-minute drive from the City and Grafton Campuses. It offers students parking, libraries, and recreational facilities.
The campuses also host more than 360 international activities. These include events such as "Peace Week," the "UNIM8S Social Sports League," and "Inter-Faculty Sports Competitions."
The University of Auckland is also home to more than 200 student clubs and societies.
