The Monterrey Institute of Technology, officially known as the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, is a private higher education institution founded on September 6, 1943, in Monterrey, Mexico. A member of such international academic bodies and organizations as SACS, APRU, Universitas 21, ECIU, ANUIES, CUDI, FIMPES, and CGU, the Monterrey Institute of Technology offers joint educational programs through strategic partnership agreements with universities such as Carnegie-Mellon University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the University of Texas at Austin. With a total of 26 campuses across Mexico and serving more than 94,000 students — over 26,000 of whom are high school students and more than 67,000 of whom are university students — the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious and successful higher education institutions in all of Latin America.

Submitting at least one of the exams below with the required score is a prerequisite for application. The score threshold may vary by program.
How to get into Tecnológico de Monterrey
Prospective international students wishing to apply to undergraduate programs offered by the Monterrey Institute of Technology must meet the following admission requirements.
- Completion of 12 Years of Basic Education
- 4-Year High School Diploma
- A Turkish High School Diploma must be evaluated by the relevant authorities in Mexico.
- High GPA
or - International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
- Official transcripts listing the courses taken and grades received throughout high school
- English Proficiency Certificate for programs taught in English
- English proficiency certificate obtained through recognized exams such as IELTS or TOEFL iBT
- Spanish Proficiency Certificate for programs taught in Spanish
- Spanish proficiency certificate obtained through recognized exams such as DELE, SIELE, or LTI
In addition to these academic and language proficiency requirements, all students must take and achieve a qualifying score on the Prueba de Aptitud Académica, an academic aptitude test administered by College Board exclusively for university admission in Latin American countries.
