The main campus is a UNESCO World Heritage Site designed by some of Mexico's most distinguished architects. The modern, attractive campus serves as a center for education and cultural activity, as well as research related to Mexico. It also plays a critical role for the country through its support of the National Seismological Service, the National Astronomical Observatory, and the National Botanical Garden. The central campus is located in the southern part of Mexico City. You can reach the campus via multiple public transit options, including a free university bus service that runs through the campus.
