Admission Requirements For International Students
Undergraduate
Applicants that wish to apply for an undergraduate program with a high school equivalency certificate issued in Hong Kong, Macao, or a foreign country, must provide the following:
- Transcripts of results
- Records of academic performance
- Documentary evidence indicating that the applicant may take the local university entrance examination (issued by the competent education authority of the local government, and reviewed and endorsed by the admission committee of a particular university or by a joint admission committee)
- English proficiency certificate for programs where the medium of instruction is English
- English proficiency certificate obtained with the scores of English proficiency exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic
- Chinese proficiency certificate for programs where the language of instruction is Chinese
- Certificate of proficiency in Chinese obtained through scores on Chinese proficiency exams such as HSK
Graduate
Prospective international students who wish to apply to graduate programs offered by NTU must meet the admission requirements set out below.

- Work experience may be required for certain programs

National Taiwan University (NTU) has a main campus located in the Daan District of Taipei City, covering an area of approximately 1.86 square kilometers.
